Pick Cook Keep explores Georgia grown strawberries

In Georgia, you’ll want to plant strawberries transplants in October and November. Local strawberries are harvested in April, May, and June. Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, and like carrots, can help prevent macular degeneration, the main cause of vision lost. They are also a good source of folate and potassium, and a very good source of dietary fiber, and Manganese.
